OTHER SCHOLARSHIPS

The Trojan Foundation Leadership & Excellence Scholarship is annually awarded to one Tuscarawas Valley senior student that has demonstrated a commitment to leadership and excellence in and out of the classroom. 

The Trojan Foundation Philanthropic Scholarship is annually awarded to one Tuscarawas Valley senior student that has demonstrated a commitment to service in their community.

The Jessica & Harold Swinford Memorial Scholarship is annually awarded to one Tuscarawas Valley senior student that has been an active member of the high school football team or a member of the local 4-H club for at least three years. The recipient does not need to be currently involved in a 4-H club (this can be 3 years any time since third grade).

The recipient must be a student demonstrating an average level of academic achievement, excellent character, high motivation, and be involved in community service, with an apparent aptitude for his or her chosen field of study.

Harold was a graduate of Tuscarawas Valley High School (1966), retired from Timken Bearing Company, and was a proud veteran.

Eligible students are determined to pursue an Associates or Bachelors Degree in nursing, demonstrate excellence, initiative, and outstanding character. While open to all applicants, preference will be given to those who demonstrate genuine financial need, making it possible for those facing economic challenges to access this opportunity.
