The Katelyn Owens Memorial Scholarship is annually awarded to one student who is pursuing a degree in Business or Finance. Preference will be given to applicants on the Tusky Valley Trap Shooting Team or those active in the Tusky Valley Band.

Katelyn was a sophomore student involved in the 2023 band bus accident. She was a bright light who made lasting impacts on everyone she knew. Katelyn had a passion for math and decided her future career would be in business and finance. She also was an avid trapshooter and played the clarinet.

The Jeffery Worrell Memorial Scholarship is annually awarded to a Tusky Valley student who participated in extra-curricular performing arts programs while attending TV. As a student, JD performed with the marching band, appeared in a number of plays, and loved being a member of the speech and debate team. The recipient needs to maintain good grades while also contributing in a meaningful way to the TV community.

JD planned on studying psychology after graduation because of his sincere desire to help others, and he would be thrilled to know this scholarship helps to continue his legacy. His family asks that the recipient helps others when they can, and lives a bold life by being a kind, authentic person who dreams big and loves everyone.

Two one time $500 scholarships will be awarded in 2025 to seniors who have participated in the Tusky Valley marching band or jazz concert band for four years with a minimum 3.2 GPA. An additional 250-350 word essay is required describing ways the band has made them valuable to our community.
